Bone Structure for solo trombone and loop pedal

Bone Structure
This is the composition I wrote as part of my final thesis. Its written for solo trombone and loop pedal and is a live recording made at the graduate show in 2008.

Live microtonal recording

I think this is the last of my old stuff, so there will be a creative flurry sometime soon...
Clocha Liath
Another microtonal piece, composed for voice, shruti box (an Indian drone instrument) and violin, it was recorded live in Greystones, Co Wicklow in 2008 for a surround-sound assignment. Clocha Liath translates as grey stones, hence the name.

sound compositions

Its taken me a few days to figure out how to put some of my sound works onto the blog. For now, I've signed up with LastFM and here they are on an album called Sound Mountains- a very mixed bunch of compositions, have a listen and tell me what you think (if you like them they are free to download)

Animation

For fun I made an animation to be shown on Liberty Hall along with loads of other submissions...

It was based on painting mainly and other found images and photographs.

Moving Form

This is a short, experimental sound and image film I made in college

Factories
... in the hope of being spurred on to new stuff, whether
it be painting, music or video or even a combination of
them all I've decided to put my old work online. There
will be more links later...
